Kelly: Yours truly. 25, genderqueer, prefers "them" as a pronoun, pansexual but prefers queer.

Geena: sunsetsinthewes. My wife, 24, Chicagoan.

Hawkeye: my cat. She has one eye and will beat the crap out of the other cats.

Ava: Geena's cat. She has the softest fur ever. We think she's part Siberian.

Toby: the older boy in the house. He's possibly the prettiest.

Ven: also known as Dark Avenger. He's a little black kitten who found us and no one wanted him to leave.

We live in Iowa in an awesome apartment. It's only about 300 square feet, maybe even less, but all our stuff fits in here just fine, as do we and our cats.

Geena is my caregiver as well as my wife.

I have a very fun (not) condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Hypermobility Type. That means I'm flexible; my connective tissue is not built properly, so I hyperextend my joints without realizing it, and subluxations and dislocations are common (though, thankfully, less so lately). It's also led to early-onset arthritis. You can read quite a bit about that here. I've been also diagnosed with chronic pain syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome in my left arm and shoulder, and fibromyalgia. In addition, I have chronic intractable migraines; I had one for the entirety of August and half of September 2009. There's also bursitis in both my hips.

I'm also Bipolar I. I have a serious case of crazy when that acts up.

You'll hear me talk about "weight issues". Those stem from recovering from an ED-NOS, specifically, anorexia nervosa without loss of menstruation. Gaining weight from psych meds has not triggered it, surprisingly.

I have pretty bad social anxiety, generalized anxiety disorder, and panic disorder.

I have massive issues with male authority figures and men in general. Internet men are fine; men I'm around are a different story, especially if I don't know them.

Thanks to the above, I'm on disability: SSDI, Medicaid, and Medicare. If you're "RAWR MY TAX DOLLARS" about any of that, I would like to direct you to conservatism rather than hanging around my journal. I don't need toxic people.

My Dreamwidth.

My Twitter.

Permanent Logs: my old fiction blog, mostly fan.

gallivanting: my new fanfiction blog.

Much of my original fiction.

My Dreamwidth for some undefined purpose.

My Amazon.com wish list

If you can watch the characters on TV, or read them in a published book that doesn't bear my name, I don't own them. See here for why it isn't illegal.

If they're not from any TV show, movie, book, and so on, I own them. Please ask before borrowing them to play in your sandbox; I'll probably say yes. I just want to know what you're doing with them.
